August 2020 sales were 39% above the ten-year average for August, representing the highest August in the last decade. That said, sales are down 2.9 per cent compared to sales last month in our record setting July.
I find it interesting that the majority of Buyers I have met in last past 2-3 months have been people moving out of the city. When I ask why they are moving, they say they want more space and no longer need to go into the office each day; that they are able to work from home. The Valley offers diverse property types at a good value. I believe that paired with the fact that interest rates are at an all time low has attributed to the hot market we are seeing in the Fraser Valley.
