{"id":108,"date":"2020-11-11T00:53:21","date_gmt":"2020-11-11T05:53:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.caianderson.com\/blog\/?p=108"},"modified":"2020-11-11T00:53:22","modified_gmt":"2020-11-11T05:53:22","slug":"october-2020-market-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.caianderson.com\/blog\/2020\/11\/11\/october-2020-market-update\/","title":{"rendered":"October 2020 Market Update"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Ongoing demand for Fraser Valley real estate saw overall sales reach the highest point for the month of October in the Board\u2019s history.\u00a0Ongoing demand for Fraser Valley real estate saw overall sales reach the highest point for the month of October in the Board\u2019s history.\u00a0\u00a0<br><br><strong>Single Family Detached<\/strong>\u00a0At $1,046,900 the Benchmark price for a\u00a0<em>single-family detached<\/em>\u00a0home in the Fraser Valley increased 1.4 per cent compared to September and, increased 9.9 per cent compared to October 2019.<br><strong>Townhomes:<\/strong>\u00a0At $569,200, the Benchmark price for a\u00a0<em>townhome<\/em>\u00a0in the Fraser Valley increased 0.3 per cent compared to September and increased 5.0 per cent compared to October 2019.<br><br><strong>Apartments:<\/strong>\u00a0At $434,600, the Benchmark price for\u00a0<em>apartments\/condos<\/em>\u00a0in the Fraser Valley decreased by 0.5 per cent compared to September and increased 4.2 per cent compared to October 2019.\u00a0For the Fraser Valley region, the average number of days to sell an apartment in October was 36 days, and 27 days for townhomes.
